Groundcover roses have a low branching habit with lots of flowers. They are colourful, hardy, and spreading. They are easily clipped into compact shapes or allowed to ramble as a larger massed carpet of colour. (Just remember they do have thorns - it's not like tiptoeing through the tulips.)
